Notice For Asset Disposal tender job at Nile Basin Initiative

The Nile Basin Initiative Secretariat (Nile-SEC), located in Entebbe, invites interested bidders to submit bids for the purchase of office equipment, furniture and Generators.

The disposal method is by tender. The list of the assets being disposed can be viewed online from the NBI Website; www.nliebasin.org under opportunities or at the NBI Office premises located on Plot 12 Mpigi road Entebbe next to Directorate of Water Resources Management from Tuesday, 25th to Thursday 27th November, 2025 during working hours le 10:00 am to 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday. Bidders may bid for one or more items but in separate envelopes.

The sale will be made to the highest evaluated bidder subject to the reserve price, however NBI reserves the right to accept or reject any bid.

Most equipment are in good condition and will be sold “AS IS, WHERE IS”. The Buyer will be responsible for all the taxes that may be levied, by the Government of Uganda.

The closing date for submission of bids should not be later than 11.00AM, Wednesday, 10th December 2025. Bidders who have submitted bids or their representatives may attend the bid opening, which will take place at Nile Basin Initiative Secretariat Office, 11.20 a.m. on 10th December 2025.

Bids should clearly indicate the Price, Terms of Payment, currency and the exchange rate if the bid is in another currency other than Uganda Shillings. Photocopy of receipt of bid payment must be attached. Bids in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Purchase of “Office Equipment”, “Furniture”, “Generator” should be physically submitted to the address below;
