Job Title:Â Â Graduate Trainee, Dealer (No Experience Jobs) Organisation:Â UAP Old Mutual Insurance Duty Station:Â Â Kampala, Uganda About the Company: The UAP Old Mutual Group is an integrated Financial Service business comprising Faulu Microfinance Bank, UAP and Old Mutual. The Group, which is operational in East Africa services to more than 1.2 million customers across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan. The UAP Old Mutual Group now comprises of three key players as a result of the acquisition of a controlling stake in Faulu in 2014 and UAP in 2015 by Old Mutual. The acquisitions resulted in Old Mutual Kenya UAP Holdings and Faulu Microfinance Bank, forming one of the largest financial services groups with a growing footprint in East and Central Africa. UAP and Old Mutual have been major players in the financial services market in East Africa for decades. The two entities have vast experience in Insurance, Investment, Asset Management and Banking, and are passionate about helping our customers achieve their financial goals. Key Duties and Responsibilities: - This role trades in equity, fixed income, commodity, money and currency markets. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts.
- Monitors equity, fixed income and money market, commodity and currency markets.
- Collects and disseminates information affecting markets in general.
- Receives buying and selling orders for implementation.
- Determines, implements and adopts appropriate tactics to implement orders and ensures equitable allocation of trades between portfolio managers.
- Maintains communication with local and international stockbrokers.
- Maintains trading systems and builds financial models.
- Seeks trading opportunities to enhance investment performance

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Skills and competencies: - Market Knowledge Quantitative and Technical Analysis Problem Solving and Data Analysis and Visualization Communication Skills and proficiency in trading platforms. Industry knowledge in the field of Economics, Mathematical computation and Finance
- Qualifications: Relevant degree in Business related field. Experience in Fund Management will be an added advantage.

- Education: Bachelors Degree (B) (Required)
