Job Title: Â Direct Sales Representative (No Experience Jobs) Organisation:Â KCB Bank Uganda Limited Duty Station:Â Kampala, Uganda About the Company: KCB Bank Uganda Limited which is part of KCB Group, East Africa’s largest commercial bank that was established in 1896. Over the years, the Bank has grown and spread its wings into Tanzania, South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi completing the East African circuit in the year 2012. Today, the Group has the largest branch network in the region with over 238 branches, 950 ATMs and 8,000 agents offering banking services on a 24/7 basis in East Africa. KCB Bank Uganda was established in the year 2007 and has grown to become one of Uganda’s top ten commercial banks. Â Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Source and Manage client relationships and accounts to minimize attrition.
- Sourcing for new personal banking business opportunities in coordination with the sales team and other units.
- Adherence to KYC and AML policies and procedures.
- Cross sell bank products including assets, liability and electronic banking products
- Sales calls and market intelligence gathering
- Receive and escalate both verbal and written customer complaints.
- Any other duties that may be allocated from time to time.
- Risk profiling of potential clients and ensure adherence to KYC and AML policies and procedures.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A degree or post graduate degree (Business and/or Finance related)
- Good understanding of banking products, policies and procedures.
- Sound knowledge of the KCB bank products and processes such as account opening and documentation.
- Credit knowledge including understanding and interpretation of financial statements.
- Understanding of behavior and application scoring systems and how to use relevant scoring software.
- Understanding risk management principles, credit scoring principles and procedures.
- Understanding of competitors and their products and services
- Attend relevant courses and e-learning sessions.
- Good understanding of existing customer profiles.
- The candidate should possess the following interpersonal competencies:
- Organized, proactive, Innovative, reliable, empathetic, persuasive, good team player, decisive, result oriented, energetic, active, with integrity and culturally sensitive.
