Job Title:   Administrative Assistant (Fresher Jobs) Organisation: CPA SACCO Ltd Duty Station: Kamwokya, Kampala Uganda  About US: CPA Sacco Ltd is a brainchild of the Members Services Committee of the Council of ICPAU. It was formed by Accountants in a promoters meeting in July 2013. It registered with the Registrar of Cooperatives on 4th October 2013 under REG No 10417/RCS. The main purpose of the SACCO is; To provide members with Savings, loans and related services. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operations of the SACCO. The Administrative Assistant will support staff and board through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform administrative and clerical duties, including data entry, preparation of weekly and monthly reports.
- Prepare and distribute correspondences, memos, and letters.
- Assist in the preparation of Management and committee/board reports.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
- Assist with event planning, coordination & providing general support to members.
- Liaise with staff and consultants to handle requests from SUPCO and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulations and cooperatives act.
- Marketing, Brand awareness and publicizing CPA SACCO.
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor or Team leader/ committee chairpersons and the board.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Business administration, Bachelor of commerce, accounting and finance, or a degree in Economics or any other related field
- CPA level 2 and above is a must.
- Proven experience as an administrative, data entry, finance.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other office software.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, strong written & verbal communication.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
