The incumbent will work closely with other departments and teams to ensure that the organization’s mechanical infrastructure is efficient, reliable, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Duties and Responsibilities: - Designing, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment that are critical to the production and distribution of pharmaceutical products, such as HVAC systems, compressed air systems, and water purification systems.
- Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs for mechanical systems and equipment to ensure that they operate efficiently and reliably.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical problems with equipment, and performing repairs or recommending equipment replacement as necessary.
- Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards for mechanical equipment and systems.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as production, quality assurance, and facilities management, to ensure that mechanical systems and equipment support the needs of the organization.
- Participating in the design and construction of new facilities and equipment, ensuring that they meet quality, safety, and performance requirements.
- Analyzing data and trends related to mechanical systems and equipment performance, and making recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
Qualifications and Experience: - Applicants should hold an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
- At least three (3) years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment.
