Job Description

Manage the end to end daily operations of the Mbarara factory outlet, ensuring efficient customer service, accurate inventory dispatches, and secure payment processing.

Lead the local depot team to maintain high operational standards, staff discipline, workplace safety, and seamless retail coordination.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise daily outlet and depot operations, allocating duties to staff and verifying task completion across all shifts.
• Manage inventory dispatches and receipt of goods, enforcing strict stock controls to prevent loss, damage, or discrepancies.
• Process customer transactions and manage cash handling in full compliance with company banking procedures and financial controls.
• Address and resolve routine operational disruptions, stock issues, and customer complaints while upholding product integrity and safety standards.
• Enforce site hygiene, food safety, physical security, and occupational health and safety requirements across the facility.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and audit ready operational records, including dispatch notes, stock reconciliations, and cash reports.
• Coordinate closely with central supply chain, logistics, and retail operations teams to align depot inventory with local sales demand.
• Monitor outlet operational costs, minimizing waste and preventing unnecessary operational expenditures.

Education Qualifications & Experience

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics, Accounting, or a directly related field.
• Higher Diploma or Ordinary Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Logistics, or related commercial disciplines.
• Recognized TVET, UBTEB, or professional certifications in supervisory management, depot administration, or related business areas, or accredited equivalent qualifications.

Experience

• 3+ years managing regional sales or depot outlets.
