MARKETING & VALUE ADDITION OFFICER FOR THE EYE-C PROGRAM UNDER BCU Bugisu Cooperative Union (BCU) is seeking an innovative and market-oriented professional to promote our coffee products, enhance value addition and expand market opportunities for our farmer members. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Develop and implement marketing strategies for coffee and other value-added products.
- Promote value addition initiatives to increase product quality and market value.
- Conduct market research and identify new market opportunities.
- Build relationships with buyers, partners and other stakeholders.
- Support branding, packaging and promotion activities.
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Agribusiness, Business Administration or related field.
- At least 2–3 years’ experience in marketing, value addition or sales.
- Knowledge of the coffee value chain is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation and networking skills.
- Creative, proactive and results-driven.
YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT - Increase market access for our farmers.
- Improve incomes through value addition.
- Build a strong BCU brand and presence in local and international markets.
