Job Title:  Marketing Officer  Organisation: Group Vivendi Africa Uganda Ltd Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda About Organisation: Group Vivendi Africa Uganda Ltd is part of the Group Vivendi Africa (GVA) that was founded in 2015 and it offers Canalbox internet services to households in various African cities. Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Attached to the marketing and sales department, the main task will be to implement and lead the company’s marketing activities in line with the company’s strategy;
- Participate in the marketing strategy adapted to the commercial positioning of the company or the scope;
- Participate in action plans and communication plans;
- Propose communication media, in particular digital;
- Implement and monitor operational marketing actions: media buying, sales support, digital communication, etc.;
- Conduct a statistical analysis (traffic on the sites and digital communication matrices, commercial performance, etc.);
- Manage external partnerships such as advertising agencies, media partners, etc.;
- Work with agencies/graphic designers to create new tools and media: flyers, digital comms, etc.;
- Manage & roll-out digital marketing tools (company website, social media, etc.);
- Develop call for tenders in compliance with the regulations in force;
- Analyse the offers of a service provider (communication agencies, press relations agency, web agencies and developers, trade marketing agencies, marketing research institutes, etc.) based on various indicators;
- Analyse the productions of the service providers and propose readjustments according to the needs, standards, and brand guidelines of the company;
- Select the tools and communication media adapted to the needs of the company;
- Organize events supporting the company’s communication strategy;
- Write and update the content of the company’s communication media;
- Analyse the visibility of the company’s brand;
- Be constantly on the lookout for new trends and current events for partnership.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field; master’s is a plus;
- Minimum of three years of experience in this position or in a similar position,
- Proven ability to significantly drive engagement and conversion.
- Creative & able to identify new growth channels and innovate with smart hacks;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Sense of organization and rigor;
- Dynamic, proactive, and curious are qualities that are recognized in you;
- Autonomy does not scare you;
