Job Purpose: - The purpose of this job is to support the smooth operation of the Marketing and Communications department and the attainment of its goals.
- The job holder shall assist with ongoing Marketing and Communications projects, activities and administration.
- Support social media marketing and creative agencies during the conceptualization, design and production of marketing messages and collateral.
- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share through use of appropriate marketing channels and communications medium.
- Stay abreast of industry and corporate developments, events, and issues in support of the Bankâs corporate image and responsibilities by scanning all media and sharing real-time updates with the department.
Key Result Areas: - Support with writing, editing, and distribution of content, including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches, and other marketing material that communicates the Bankâs activities, products and/or services.
- Creating and interpreting a variety of reports.
- Organizing market research especially the simple dipsticks to test messages, product understanding both physically and using digital tools.
- Support the team in the organization of all events.
- Execute the administrative duties of the department from time to time.
- Digitizing of all paperwork, contracts, minutes, reports etc
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned to you from time to time.
Financial Responsibility: Responsible for cost optimization of all marketing tasks by ensuring value is attained Person Specification Education & Training: - A bachelorâs degree in marketing, Business, or any related field.
- Professional Marketing qualifications like CIM
- Understanding of Brand Management, Corporate Communications and PR is an added advantage.
Skills & Experience: - Must have good creative, verbal, and written communication skills with good organizational and administrative skills.
- Good knowledge of modern practices in marketing and communications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
Business Behaviours: - The ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in written form in a professional manner is essential.
- Ability to build sustainable working relationships across organizational, corporate, and cultural boundaries.
- Ability to demonstrate positive image and role model HFBs values
- Good presentation skills
- Creative and adaptable to change.
- Ability to conceptualize issues
