The successful candidate will conduct borrower assessments, manage a loan portfolio, drive client acquisition, and ensure timely loan repayments while delivering excellent customer service in line with La Plumadaâs policies and methodology. Key Responsibilities - Assess clientsâ financial capacity, verify business activities, and evaluate creditworthiness.
- Prepare recommendations for loan approval by the Credit Committee.
- Monitor loan repayments and implement follow-up and escalation procedures for delinquent accounts.
- Generate new business through referrals and client outreach.
- Conduct periodic field visits for client monitoring and collections follow-up.
- Maintain accurate client records in the CRM system.
- Stay up to date with company products and services to provide accurate client guidance.
Qualifications and Skills - Diploma in Microfinance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in credit, lending, or a related role is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in computer applications, Android-based tools, and Google Workspace.
- Fluency in English and Luganda (additional Ugandan languages are an asset).
