Manager, Strategy and Planning 2025-10-07T18:27:24+00:00 National Information Technology Authority-Uganda (NITA-U) FULL_TIME Consulting Management 2025-10-15T17:00:00+00:00 Uganda 8 Background information about the job or company: The Officer will be responsible for coordination of the development and operational implementation of the Officeâs Strategic Plan. Responsibilities or duties: - Coordinate the development and implementation of the Officeâs Strategic plan and work plans
- Monitor and evaluate programmatic and operational effectiveness
- Prepare and present performance reports to the National Director and Board
- Liaise with Government agencies to ensure alignment with national development goals
- Administer and coordinate the activities of a range of specified operating and support programs, as appropriate to the objectives of the Office
- Develop and manage annual capital and/or operating budgets; monitor, and coordinate Office budgets as appropriate
- Develop funding proposals for the Office
- Collect, analyse and compile data on performance of the Office as per its annual plans and targets
- Represent the Office to Governmental agencies, funding agencies, national organizations, and/or the general public; as assigned
- Lead Monitoring and Evaluation of the Officeâs activities
- Lead the annual review and target setting of performance indicators and methods to capture key activities
Qualifications or requirements: - Bachelorâs Degree in Development Studies, or Social Sciences, or Social Work and Social Administration, or Statistics, or Economics, or Development Planning, or related area
- Masterâs Degree in any of the above fields from a recognized University/Institution is an added advantage
- Relevant professional certifications shall be an added advantage
Experience needed: A minimum of five (05) working experience in a role related to policy, planning and evaluation in a busy organisation of which 2 years shall be at supervisory level Any other provided details: Will be responsible and supervise five staff - Coordinate the development and implementation of the Officeâs Strategic plan and work plans
