Job Details Preventive Maintenance - Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for hospital buildings, equipment, and utilities.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, water systems, and hospital infrastructure.
- Ensure timely servicing and maintenance of hospital equipment and facilities.
Corrective Maintenance - Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems within competence levels.
- Coordinate with external service providers and contractors for specialized repairs.
Utilities Management - Monitor and maintain uninterrupted supply of electricity, water, oxygen systems, and backup power sources.
- Conduct routine generator testing and ensure adequate fuel levels are maintained.
- Monitor utility consumption and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
Safety and Compliance - Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Support fire safety inspections and maintenance of firefighting equipment.
- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
Asset and Inventory Management - Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and service schedules.
- Monitor maintenance tools, spare parts, and supplies inventory.
- Participate in asset verification and condition assessments.
Requirements - Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Maintenance, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2â3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a hospital, healthcare facility, hotel, or large institution.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, generator, HVAC, and building maintenance systems.
