Key Accountabilities - Conducting legal research and providing legal opinions;
- Preparation and review of routine and small value contracts;
- Preparation and review of non-complex and routine Memoranda of Understanding;
- Providing clerical support in preparation of Contracts and Memoranda of Understanding;
- Preparation of Court Pleadings
- Performing clerical duties required in preparation, filing and serving court documents and reports;
- Watching Brief (Attending and observing court proceedings in the company of NITA-U Lawyers and designated State Attorneys);
- Conducting legal due diligence;
- Preparation of internal and external letters and memoranda;
- Attending meetings as assigned;
- Conducting internal legal awareness drives;
- Delivering and filing internal and external correspondences;
- Organizing and filing Directorate documents;
- Any other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements Education - Bachelorsâ degree in Law from a recognized University
- Diploma in Legal Practice is a requirement
Experience - At least six (6) months of relevant experience in legal practice, corporate legal services, regulatory or compliance work within a reputable public or corporate organization.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
