Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Legal Officer for performing the following duties:-
- Providing legal and technical inputs in formulation and review of physical planning and land use policies, legislation, standards, regulations and guidelines;
- Undertaking inspection of physical planning institutions and their transactions in the respective districts and generate reports thereof;
- Monitoring and reporting on the implementation of policies, laws, standards and regulations that relate to physical planning and land use regulatory framework;
- Supporting in the implementation procedures and capacity building initiatives n to Local Governments and other stakeholders on land use and compliance framework;
- Processing, updating and ensuring custody of records for all physical planning appeals;
- Undertaking research and studies that contribute to physical planning and land use regulatory framework;
- Tracking, monitoring and handling clientâs complaints;
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
