- Develop new programs and review existing ones to meet market demands
- Engage in scholarly activities including developing teaching materials and publishing textbooks
- Conduct teaching, set/mark examinations, and submit student performance records
- Contribute to departmental administration and student admissions/induction
- Undertake individual and collaborative research projects
- Develop funding proposals for research projects
- Participate in professional conferences and establish institutional collaborations

2. Research and Innovation - Conduct research published in peer-reviewed journals
- Guide and supervise student research projects
- Develop research proposals to attract funding
- Participate in research conferences and seminars
3. Departmental Contributions - Participate in student admissions and induction
- Market courses and consultancy services
- Attend and contribute to departmental meetings
- Support quality assurance processes
4. Professional Engagement - Establish collaborations with other institutions
- Build relationships with industry/commercial organizations
- Participate in academic committees and initiatives

Person Specification Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field (required)
- Professional qualifications (required)
- Master's degree (added advantage)
Experience - Minimum 2 years teaching in higher education or industry experience
- Demonstrated research capability or industry experience
Skills and Attributes - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and initiate projects
- Capacity to guide students in practical projects
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability
- Collaborative team-working abilities
