Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare drafts of routine legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, notices of motion, contracts, and letters of demand for review by senior attorneys. Case File Preparation: Organize, paginate, and index evidentiary documents, witness statements, and exhibit bundles for court submissions and trial binders. Court Registry Liaison: File court documents (plaints, applications, memoranda of appearance) at the High Court, Magistrates Courts, and other tribunals; track filing receipts and return dates. Due Diligence Support: Assist in conducting due diligence searches at the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), land offices, and other registries for property or company transactions. Summarizing Depositions & Records: Read and summarize transcripts of proceedings, lengthy contracts, or police statements to extract key facts and legal issues for the legal team.
