The Laboratory Technician will perform laboratory investigations and support accurate and timely diagnosis by ensuring proper specimen handling, testing, and reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, label, collect, and process patient specimens.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests according to approved procedures.
- Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Record, verify, and report test results accurately.
- Maintain laboratory quality control and safety standards.
- Monitor laboratory supplies and assist with stock management.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory results.
- Observe infection prevention and waste-management procedures.
Requirements: - Diploma or relevant qualification in Medical Laboratory Technology/Sciences.
- Valid registration and practicing licence with the relevant professional council.
- Relevant laboratory experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and teamwork.
