JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities:
• Write engaging and accurate justice sector news stories, articles, and reports tailored for a general audience.
• Draft newsletters, press releases, and other communications to inform and engage the company’s audience via the company’s website and social media pages.
• Monitor and report on the latest legal news, rulings, and industry updates.
• Attend court sessions daily, document proceedings, and prepare reports.
• Capture and edit professional photos and videos at legal events for internal and external communications.
• Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements.
• Ensure brand consistency across all media and PR engagements.
• Plan and implement projects like: special reports, workshops and events.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, Law or a related field.
• At least 2 years of writing or journalism experience.
• Proficiency in digital content tools.
• Project management skills.
• Familiarity with Uganda’s justice system is an added advantage.
