The role involves gathering business requirements, documenting processes, supporting system implementations, conducting testing, and providing user support while ensuring solutions align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements - Support identification and documentation of business needs and stakeholder requirements.
- Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements.
- Participate in meetings with business users to understand processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Document:
- Functional and non-functional requirements
- Business process flows
- Use cases
- User stories
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.
Solution Design - Support review and analysis of proposed business and system changes.
- Participate in solution design discussions.
- Document proposed solutions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Testing & Implementation - Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by:
- Preparing test scenarios
- Writing test cases
- Recording test results
- Track and help resolve testing defects.
- Support system deployment and user readiness activities.
Documentation & Training - Prepare:
- User guides
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- System documentation
- Assist in training end users on new or enhanced systems and business processes.
System Support - Provide first-level support for business systems.
- Log, analyze, and follow up on user issues and enhancement requests.
- Monitor support tickets and escalate complex issues where necessary.
- Gather user feedback and monitor system performance for continuous improvement.
Project Support - Maintain:
- Project documentation
- Meeting minutes
- Requirements traceability
- Status reports
- Support project delivery within agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.
Continuous Improvement - Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Compliance & AML Responsibilities The role requires adherence to Old Mutual's Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Sanctions policies by: - Following AML, KYC, and Sanctions procedures.
- Supporting Customer Due Diligence (CDD).
- Conducting ongoing and enhanced due diligence where required.
- Maintaining high-quality customer data.
- Identifying suspicious transactions or compliance breaches.
- Escalating risks to the Risk & Compliance Office.
Qualifications Required - Bachelor's degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Software Engineering
- Or equivalent
- Certification in at least one area of application development.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in:
- Business Analysis
- Software Development
- Working knowledge of databases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
