Vision for Africa International is an international aid organization whose goal is to provide education and training to needy children and young people in Africa (with a focus on Uganda), thereby giving them hope for their future.

Job Summary:   Are you a tech-savvy professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for IT solutions? Do you have experience managing IT infrastructure and driving digital transformation? Vision for Africa International – Kiyunga, Mukono is looking for a highly skilled and innovative IT Manager to join our team!

About The Role

As an IT Manager, you will oversee the institution’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of systems, networks, and security. You will lead a team, implement new technologies, and ensure our digital assets align with organizational goals.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A professional certification (such as Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Certified, or ITIL) is an added advantage.
• Experience: 5 – 10 years in IT management, system administration, or network security.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of German is an added advantage.
• Age Requirement: Must be between 30 – 50 years.

Technical & Leadership Skills:

• Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud computing and enterprise systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain IT systems efficiently.
• Strong team leadership and communication skills.
• God-fearing, with high integrity and ethical work standards.
