The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing IT operations, infrastructure, service delivery, and vendor management to ensure reliable, secure, and cost-effective technology services that support business operations. Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. IT Governance, Strategy & Architecture
Demonstrates awareness of overall IT governance structure and system architecture development to support the process and assist in design of interaction between systems.
2. Project management, Planning and Optimization
Understands project management principles to provide basic estimates on timing, resource utilization and costs to facilitate the project planning process.
3. Technical Expertise
Understands technical aspects of own job and applies them in a thorough and systematic manner to analyze customerâs technical issues and offer value adding advice and/or solutions.
4. Service Management
Understands and follows the established standards and protocols for service excellence within own domain to maintain quality of delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.
5. Client Management
Demonstrates working understanding of existing hardware, software, servers and network management to resolve usersâ routine problems using established processes and tools.
6.Procurement and Contract Management
Assists in the technology selection process by collating information on vendors and/or products for evaluation against criteria.
- Manage ISP relations through Monthly/quarterly meetings
- Onboard IT services suppliers
- Service desk Team management.
- Participate in procuring of IT equipment.
- Negotiate cost on IT services to suit budget
- Manage and administer SIP/VoIP servers.
- Set Up, Administer the UG SD WAN at HQ and respective branches
- Extend IT support services to users at the branch/Through visits and remote support.
- Deliver tech initiatives that simplify Business Processes.
- Document IT policies - with constant revisions.
- Project management of assigned IT tasks - with proper documentation.
- Management of the cloud infrastructure - Servers and VPN Tools.
- Supervise IT works in relation to installations at the different Mogo UG sites.
- IT KPIâs delivery
- Contract Negotiation.
- Office 365, Azure, AWS skills.
- Linux/Asterisk knowledge
- Networking, System Management
- Management skills, budgeting, team management/leadership.
- SLA Management
- Security & Audit compliance
