PROCUREMENT REFERENCE NUMBER: CFU/WORKS/2025/11/01 INVITATION TO TENDER FOR DRILLING WORKS FOR ONE (1) BOREHOLE IN PALORINYA REFUGEE SETTLEMENT, OBONGI DISTRICT

ChildFund Uganda with funding from Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), is implementing the I-LEAP/KOICA HDP-N Project. The initiative aims to enhance the quality of Early Childhood Development (ECD) infrastructure and strengthen community livelihoods through sustainable agricultural development in Palorinya refugee settlement, Obongi District.

We hereby invite sealed bids from qualified, reputable and experienced contractors for the following works:

• Drilling Works for One (1) Production Borehole

Tender Instructions:

1. Interested bidders may obtain detailed tender documents upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 50,000 (Fifty Thousand Shillings) at the following locations:

   • ChildFund Moyo Field Office, Multi-Purpose in Maduga Village, Moyo Municipality, Moyo District

   • ChildFund Country Office on Plot 71/72, Namirembe Road, Kampala

2. Document Collection Schedule:

   • Monday to Thursday: 08:00am – 05:30pm

   • Friday: 08:00am – 02:00pm

3. Pre-Bid Visit:
   A mandatory site inspection will be held on Thursday, 20th November 2025, 10:00am, departing from the ChildFund Moyo Field Office.

4. Key Dates:

   • Submission deadline: Thursday, 27th November 2025, at 04:00pm

   • Bid Opening: Monday, 1st December 2025, at 10:00am at ChildFund Country Office on Plot 71/72, Namirembe Road, Kampala.

5. Submission Instructions:
   Bids must be in sealed envelopes clearly marked
