Invitation To Bid to Refurbish and Operate a Poolside Kitchen (KCL/SVCS/20-25/001) tender at Kampala Club Limited

PLOT 8, TERNAN AVENUE, NAKASERO, P.O BOX 9048, KAMPALA.

Background

The Club is strategically located in one of the most prime and upscale areas of Kampala City on Plot 8, Ternan Avenue, Nakasero next to the Kampala Sheraton, Kampala Serena and Imperial Royal Hotels along the Kampala hotel belt and up market residential suburb of Nakasero, most of which has been re-zoned for commercial development.

Because of these high-end and internationally acclaimed neighboring Hotels, the Club's Restaurant has potential to attract international visitors, who take advantage of the competitive rates offered.

Invitation to bid

1. Kampala Club Ltd invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for refurbishment and Operation of a pool side Kitchen and services to Club Members and others.
2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information at the address given below at paragraph 6 from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
3. The Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 200,000 at the address below at paragraph 6.
4. Bids must be delivered to the tender box at the address below at paragraph 6 at or before 3:00pm and opening shall take place at 3:15 pm on 18th July 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who wish to attend.
5. There shall be a physical inspection of the premises at Kampala Club on 8th July 2025 at 11:00AM
6. The bidding document may be inspected from the General Manager's office at Kampala Club House on Plot 8, Ternan Avenue, Nakasero.
7. The bidding document will be available from the 8th July 2025 and issued from the General Manager's Office.
8. Sealing and marking of Proposals: The technical and financial proposals shall be sealed in separate envelopes, both clearly marked with the Procurement Reference and lot Number above, the bidder's name, and either "Technical Proposal" or "Financial Proposal" as appropriate and be enclosed in a single outer envelope that is also clearly marked.
9. The Executive Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without giving any reason thereof, and is not bound to offer the highest bidder.
