Procurement of Three Automatic Weather Stations for Mpologoma Catchment Under the CARFEWW Project

1. The Government of Republic of Uganda through the Ministry of Water and Environment has received funds from Adaptation Fund to be used towards the cost of Supply and Installation of 3 Automatic Weather Stations (AWS) under the Enhancing Community Adaptation to Climate Change through Climate Resilient Flood Early Warning, Catchment Management and WASH Technologies in Mpologoma Catchment in Uganda (CARFEWW) Project;

2. The Ministry of Water and Environment through Kyoga Water Management Zone (KWMZ) now invites sealed bids from eligible Providers for the provision supplies indicated below:

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding a procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 (the Act) and the Regulations made under the Act and is Open to All Bidders from Uganda. Exclusive reservation by threshold to local providers shall apply.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the address given below at 7(a) from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a Written Application to the address below at 7(a) and upon payment of a Non-refundable fee of UGX: 100,000= (Uganda shillings: One Hundred Thousand). The method of payment will be by bank advice form which may be obtained by PRN from the URA WEBSITE/ OFFICES. Payment can be made in any bank and the payment details presented to the Procurement and Disposal Unit before obtaining a copy of the bidding document. No cash will be accepted. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the same address. (7a).

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(a) at or before 21st July, 2026 at 11:00 am. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in form of an unconditional bank guarantee of Four Million Five Hundred Thousand Uganda Shillings;
   Bid Security must be valid until 13th April, 2027. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7(b) at 11:30am on 21st July, 2026.
