Invitation To Bid For Supply And Installation Of G I Tank Cover Materials On A 100m³ Steel Tank For Water Storage tender at Kalangala Infrastructure Services Ltd (KIS)

Kalangala Infrastructure Services Ltd (KIS) is a private limited company operating on Bugala Island, Kalangala District. We provide daily ferry services between Bugala Island and the Mainland and generate and distribute electricity and supply treated water on Bugala Island.

KIS under its business sector of Water treatment, storage and supply, invites interested companies to bid for supply and installation of G I tank cover materials on a 100m³ Steel tank for water storage at Kalangala Town Council on Bugala Island, Kalangala District.

Interested applicants must first pay a non-refundable application fee of UGX 50,000 (Fifty Thousand Uganda Shillings only). Upon payment:
A scanned copy of the bank deposit slip or official payment confirmation must be submitted via email to: procurementcommitteekis.co.ug or proof of payment may be physically presented at the KIS Kampala or Kalangala office for verification.

Upon verification of payment, the official Bidding Document will be issued via email to the vendor’s declared official email address. Applicants must clearly indicate their official vendor email address in their payment communication.

Bid Submission:

All bids must be submitted in sealed separate envelopes for both technical and financial, and should be addressed to “KIS Procurement Committee”. Bids should be delivered not later than 20th April 2026, at or before 5:00 pm. Delivery can be made at the KIS office in Kampala or Kalangala town.

Opening of Bid:

Bid opening will be conducted in accordance with KIS Internal procedures on Tuesday 21st April 2026, at 11:00 am (Subject to change).

• Only the successful bidder will be contacted. All other bidders will receive a debrief via email after the evaluation process.

• Kalangala Infrastructures Services (KIS) reserves the right to reject any bid and is not obliged to award the contract to the lowest bidder or any bidder.

• Any form of lobbying will result in immediate disqualification.
