PROCUREMENT NOTICE NO.3, 2026/2027 FY

Hoima District Local Government invites suitably qualified firms/companies and individuals including legally registered Associations for women, youth and persons with disabilities to submit sealed prequalification documents for works, services and supplies for the financial year 2026/2027.

CATEGORY A: PREQUALIFICATION FOR WORKS

1. General Construction of Buildings
2. Survey, Siting and drilling of boreholes
3. Construction of VIP Latrines including water borne and ocean toilets
4. Repair and renovation of District Buildings
5. Design, Supply and Installation of Microscale irrigation systems

CATEGORY B: PREQUALIFICATION FOR SUPPLIES

1. Supply of Spare parts for motor vehicles & Motorcycles
2. Computers, Printers and their accessories (ICT)
3. Supply of Spare parts for Boreholes
4. Supply of Tyres, tubes, batteries and related goods
5. Supply of School furniture
6. Supply of Printed Stationery
7. Supply of hospital equipments & consumables
8. Supply of Agriculture inputs & equipments such as Digital Soil Scanner among others
9. Supply of Motorcycles
10. Supply of Cutverts and Slabs
11. Supply of Office furniture & furnishings
12. Supply of Assorted equipment for fisheries
13. Supply of Assorted equipment for veterinary
14. Supply of Assorted equipment for Entomology: Apiculture and testee control
15. Supply of Spare parts for Road equipment
16. Supply of Building & Construction Materials
17. Petroleum products and lubricants

CATEGORY C: PREQUALIFICATION FOR SERVICES

1. Repair and maintenance of motor vehicles/motorcycles
2. Repair and servicing of computers and general office equipment
3. Hire of Road Construction Machinery/equipment
4. Hotel and Catering services
5. Radio and Communication Services
6. Repair & Maintenance of electrical and solar equipment
7. Repair & Maintenance of hospital medical equipment
8. Emptying of VIP latrines

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with PPDA Act Cap 205 and PPDA Regulations 2023.
The bidding documents may be inspected and purchased by interested bidders after submission of application to the Head Procurement and Disposal Unit upon payment of nonrefundable fee of UGX 100,000/= (One hundred thousand shillings) through IRAS Payment system. Bidding documents are available in the Procurement and Disposal Unit at the District Headquarters.
The Venue for Bid submission will be the District Youth Centre Hall at the District Headquarters.
The Closing date for bid submission is Monday 24th August 2026 at 11:00am local time, there after bids will be opened at 11:30am in the District Youth Centre in the presence of bidder’s or their representatives who will choose to attend. Late Applications for bid documents and late submissions of bids shall be rejected. Submission of Bids for pre-qualification must be received in sealed envelopes clearly marked ‘Application for update of pre-qualification for the particular works, supplies and services applied for the Financial year 2026/2027 addressed to: The Head, Procurement & Disposal Unit, Hoima District Local Government, P.O. Box 2, Hoima.
