Invitation for Prequalification of Suppliers, Service Providers, and Contractors for the 2027–2028 Period

Tororo Girls’ School is an O and A- level Girls’ Boarding school located in Tororo along Kampala- Malaba Highway. The school is in the process of pre-qualifying reputable and competent firms/individuals to supply goods, services and works for two financial years 2027-2028.

A. FOODSTUFFS SUPPLIES.

1. Supply of Maize flour
2. Supply of Beans
3. Supply of Rice
4. Supply of Beef
5. Groceries (cooking oil, salt, curry powder, sugar, tealeaves, etc.)
6. Supply of Vegetables, Matooke, Chicken & Cassava flour

B. OTHER SUPPLIES.

1. Supply of Uniforms (dresses, skirts, shirts) and staff uniforms.
2. Supply of School sweaters
3. Supply of Sportswear
4. Supply of Laboratory equipment & chemicals
5. Supply of Stationery, office equipment & tools
6. Supply of Text books and other readers
7. Supply of Electrical, building and plumbing equipment
8. Supply of cleaning materials (vum, liquid soap, bar soap and blankets)
9. Supply of furniture (benches, chairs, dining tables, stools & beds)
10. Supply of printed Stationery (Calendars, Magazines, Alumni albums etc.)
11. Supply of fire wood

C. SERVICES.

1. Provision of furniture & pit emptying services
2. Provision of fire extinguishers services
3. Servicing and repair of school vehicles & cycles

D. WORKS.

1. General building works.

N.B

1. Bidding Documents shall be inspected and issued at Procurement and Disposal Unit upon payment of a non refundable fee of 100,000 (One hundred thousand shillings only) cash between 10:00am - 3:30Pm from Monday to Friday starting from Thursday 6th August, 2026.
2. Each item under each Lot is applied for separately. Applicants must pay for each item they intend to apply for.
3. Applicants must attach all the necessary legal & financial documents and other documents as requested for in the solicitation document.
4. Three copies of sealed bids clearly marked with each item applied for should be addressed to:
   • The Procurement and Disposal Unit, Tororo Girls’ School,
   • P.O.BOX 282,
   • Tororo (U).
5. Bids must be submitted not later than 4th September, 2026 at 14:00Hrs. Late submissions shall be rejected.
