Invitation for Bids under Open Domestic Bidding for Framework Contracts

Lira University in preparation for procurement activities for Financial Year 2026/2027 invites bids from eligible firms for supply and provision of services on Framework Contracts for a period of 18 months.

1. SUPPLIES

a) Supply of Academic Gowns, Caps, Hoods, T-Shirts & Uniforms.
b) Supply of Cleaning and Sanitary Materials
c) Supply of Medicines and Medical Sundries
d) Supply of Fuel, Oil and Lubricants
e) Supply of Laboratory Equipment, Reagents, Chemicals and Sundries
f) Supply of Newspapers
g) Supply of Office Stationery
h) Supply of tyres, tubes and batteries
i) Supply of welfare items
j) Supply of Plumbing Materials for Maintenance Works
k) Supply of Electrical Materials for Maintenance Works
l) Supply of Office Toners/Cartridges and other ICT Supplies

2. SERVICES

a) Design and General Printed Stationery
b) Provision of hotel and conference facilities
c) Provision of Insurance Services
d) Repair and Maintenance of Motor Vehicles
e) Provision of Events Management Services.
f) Provision of Guards and Security Services
g) Provision of Media Advertisement/Publishing Services
h) Provision of engraving services
i) Provision of Car Washing Services
j) Provision of Car Hire Services
k) Provision of Indoor and outdoor Cleaning Services for the University Hospital
l) Repair and Maintenance of Generators
m) Provision of Indoor and outdoor Cleaning Services at the Education Block.
n) Supply and Maintenance of Fire Extinguishers.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at Lira University PDU or procurementlirauni.ac.ug

5. Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Shs.100,000/= exclusive of bank charges (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand only). 6. Bids must be delivered to the PDU on or before 30th June, 2026 at 12:00pm. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the Procurement and Disposal Office on 30th June, 2026 at 12:30pm
