Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelorâs Degree in Business Administration; or Commerce majoring in Procurement/ Supplies/ Logistics Management; or Transport and Logistics Management; or Procurement from a recognized University/ Institution or Full professional qualification from a recognized awarding institution such as Institute of Supplies Management, Certified Institute of Procurement and Supplies (CIPS) and Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) UK.

The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Inventory Management Officer for performing the following duties:-
- Coordinating receipts and issuance of stores;
- Advising user Departments on stock levels;
- Ensuring inventory are identified by use of unique coding system for easy location of item and accuracy of records;
- Managing the security of the stores;
- Supervising the management of high value and sensitive stores;
- Authoring the issuance of low value stores;
- Preparing reports on the performance of the inventory Unit and making recommendation for disposal of obsolete or unserviceable stores.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from to time
