Duty Station: Kampala
Duration: 3-year contract (renewable subject to availability of funds and satisfactory performance) Purpose of the Job: The Internal Auditor shall conduct audit exercises. He/she will ensure that AIC’s internal controls, risk management, and governance processes are effective and efficient in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Person Specifications: - Academic Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting option), BBA (Finance/Accounting), or equivalent. CPA or ACCA certification is a must.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of internal auditing in a large NGO or corporate institution.
- Other Requirements: Proficient in accounting packages and MS Office. Strong analytical skills and ethics.
