KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage insurance quotations, proposals, policy documentation, renewals and endorsements.
- Analyse client risks, prepare underwriting submissions and negotiate competitive terms with insurers.
- Support policy issuance, premium reconciliation, claims administration and portfolio reporting.
- Maintain accurate underwriting records, policy registers, renewal diaries and client files.
- Monitor outstanding quotations, policy documents, endorsements and insurer responses.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, Insurance Regulatory Authority requirements and applicable
- Build strong relationships with clients, insurers and internal teams while supporting effective risk management solutions.
REQUIREMENTS - Bachelorâs degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science or a related field.
- Minimum 2 yearsâ experience in insurance underwriting, broking, claims or client servicing.
- Good knowledge of general insurance products, underwriting processes, policy documentation and claims management.
- Professional insurance qualifications and knowledge of Ugandaâs insurance regulatory environment are an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
