The organisation is composed of the Council as its governing body, Committees of Council, a Secretariat for its day-to-day operations with semi-autonomous Public Agricultural Research Institutes (PARIâs) under its policy guidance. The Director General invites suitably qualified Ugandans to apply for the following positions at PARIs and NARO Secretariat. Information Technology Officer - Technical Support: Provide IT support to staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- System Maintenance: Maintain and update computer systems, servers, and peripheral equipment.
- Software Installation: Install and configure software applications and operating systems.
- User Training: Train staff on the use of software applications and IT systems.
- Cybersecurity: Implement security measures, including antivirus updates and user access controls.
- Data Backup: Ensure regular data backups and disaster recovery procedures are followed.
- IT Helpdesk: Manage the IT helpdesk, logging and resolving user requests.
