In Line Process Quality Auditor Details Closing Date: 2026/10/29 Reference Number: DALI-2026-0076 Job Title: In Line Process Quality Auditor Job Category: Quality Job Type: Full Time Location, Town / City: Nakasongola Job Description Perform hourly line audits checking bottle volumes, cap torque, label positioning, and date codes on the production floor to safeguard product standards. Provide end to end quality and compliance verification across processing and packaging operations to prevent non conforming products from reaching the market. Support audit readiness and operational excellence by identifying deviations early and working with production teams to maintain process control. Key Duties & Responsibilities - Perform hourly line audits checking bottle volumes, cap torque, label positioning, and date codes on the floor.
- Conduct sampling, physical inspection, and testing using approved standard methods and sampling plans.
- Operate torque gauges and testing instruments, verifying their suitability and standards before recording results.
- Maintain and analyze statistical process control (SPC) charts to monitor packaging line consistency and process capability.
- Identify, isolate, document, and report non conforming materials and finished products, preventing release merely to meet output targets.
- Participate in evidence based root cause analysis for quality deviations and verify the implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain complete, legible, timely, and traceable quality inspection records, checklists, and shift reports.
- Maintain the work area and records in readiness for internal audits, UNBS inspections, and food safety certification reviews.
- Follow all applicable personal protective equipment, occupational safety, plant hygiene, and food contamination control requirements.
Skills - In line sampling and quality inspection
- Torque gauge operation and instrument verification
- Statistical process control (SPC) charting
- Defect identification and non conformance containment
- Accurate technical record keeping and documentation
Education Qualifications & Experience Education Qualifications Bachelor of Science or Higher Degree in Food Science and Technology, Food Processing Technology, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Laboratory Science, Environmental Health, Public Health, Quality Management, Packaging Technology, Agriculture, Applied Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related science or engineering field. Higher Diploma, Ordinary Diploma, National Diploma, or related technical laboratory qualification in Food Science, Food Processing, Chemistry, Microbiology, Laboratory Technology, Quality Standards, or related applied sciences. Certification in HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, food safety, or internal auditing is advantageous. Experience No prior work experience required.
