The HR Officer will manage HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance with labour laws, and staff welfare. Responsibilities or duties - Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes.
- Oversee employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance handling.
- Administer performance management and staff development programs.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and HR policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Support payroll and benefits administration.
- Promote employee engagement and a positive work culture.
- Provide HR advisory support to management and staff.
- Coordinate training and staff development initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills) - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CHRP, IHRM membership) is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and professional skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
