Human Resource Manager job at ABS Consulting Group

JOB PURPOSE

The Human Resource Manager shall support the development, implementation and coordination of human resource functions and systems to ensure effective staffing, employee performance, welfare management, training, payroll coordination and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Public Administration or a related field from a recognized institution.

Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field is an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in Human Resource Management or Administration.

• Head the day to day running of the Human Resource Department.
• Coordinate and monitor the organization’s Human Resource monitoring systems to ensure adequate staffing and alignment with agreed corporate objectives.
• Coordinate recruitment and selection processes in consultation with management.
• In close cooperation with all heads of department, prepare and continually review job descriptions.
• Coordinate periodic employee performance appraisal.
• Process staff claims and employee benefits.
• Plan and ensure provision of welfare services and facilities to employees in accordance with existing policies.
• Develop, monitor and support payroll administration in liaison with the Finance Department.
• Undertake training needs assessments and arrange appropriate training for staff.
