JOB OPPORTUNITY
Position: Human Resource Assistant
Reports to: Human Resource Manager
Duty Station: Industrial Area - Lira
Number of Positions: 01
Key Duties and Responsibilities
HR Administration - Maintain employee records, prepare HR documents, and support filing and recordkeeping.
Recruitment Assistance - Support the recruitment process by posting job adverts, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks.
Onboarding - Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientations and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Leave and Attendance Management - Ensure implementation of annual leave plans in liaison with the Field teams.
Employee Relations - Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits and procedures.
Employee Engagement and Welfare - Support HR events and staff welfare activities.
Payroll Support - Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Reporting - Generate reports on HR activities and metrics to support decision making within the department.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or any related field from a recognized University.
1-2 years of experience in a similar HR support role
Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
