Key responsibilities - Lead occupational health & safety systems and programs
- Drive risk assessments, incident investigations & emergency preparedness
- Design and implement HSSE training frameworks
- Ensure compliance with Uganda OSH and NEMA requirements
- Oversee environmental and social impact processes (ESIAs)
- Strengthen community engagement and stakeholder relations
- Champion IFC Environmental & Social standards integration
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, OHS, Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- NEBOSH Diploma & ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification (required)
- Strong expertise in ISO 14001, risk assessment & incident investigation
- Agriculture/manufacturing experience and IFC audit exposure are an added advantage
