Responsibilities or duties: - Update and develop HSE MS procedures, reporting, including contractor management, emergency preparedness and Safety engineering.
- Develop safety operating procedures for facilities in collaboration with operations disciplines.
- Implement Company Safety Policies, Standards, and Guidelines; participate in HSE committee meetings and SQM.
- Ensure contractor management aligns with EIMS (prequalification, evaluation, audits).
- Assess quality of contractor HSE MS during tendering and identify hazards prior to operations.
- Maintain regular contact with contractors to improve HSE systems based on audit recommendations.
- Custodian of incident, accident, and anomaly reporting, investigations, and analyses.
- Maintain lesson-learned culture and communicate Return on Experiences (REx).
- Ensure Health & Hygiene aspects are addressed within HSE MS.
- Ensure Environment aspects are addressed within HSE MS.
- Promote MyCompliance & Borealis (Environment) use for anomaly/incident/audit/monitoring tracking.
- Maintain risk assessment registers and hazard review systems.
- Review HSE reports and risk analyses to promote awareness.
- Ensure HSE data is updated and accessible via Company digital tools.
- Support DSA in HSE matters in coordination with the Operations Safety Lead.
- Implement HSE Culture program across EACOP teams.
- Develop and deliver HSE training modules; conduct awareness campaigns and sessions.
- Promote proactive HSE culture through communication campaigns such as the annual World Safety Day, World Enviro Day.
- Ensure training is conducted per EACOP training matrix.
- Assist with HSE annual plan, objectives, and HSE program drafting.
Qualifications or requirements: - Bachelorâs degree in HSE & related fields; technical engineering degree (mechanical e.g.).
- HSE methods and operational expertise.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft productivity softwares including PowerBI & M365-Copilot.
- Good presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Studious, analytical, and proactive mindset.
Experience needed: - 10 years in upstream Oil & Gas sector, with at least 5 years in HSE.
