Provide HR advisory services to staff to support achievement of company strategic objectives and manage all HR related matters for the organisation.
Reports To General Manager
Supervises HR InternÂ
Key Result Areas
â€˘ Provide day to day guidance on HR policy and employment laws in order to ensure compliance to management and all staff.
â€˘ Coordinate and support on the Performance Management process in order to ensure productivity by;
1. Ensuring all staff have signed JDs and a copy kept on file
2. Ensure all staff have targets for the year
3. Ensure appraisal of all staff once a year and records put on file
4. Maintaining records.
5. Manage probationary reports and write confirmation letters where the staff is successful at probation.
6. Manage termination where the staff has failed probation.
â€˘ Manage employee relations to maintain a conducive work environment by;
1. Counseling staff.
2. Providing guidance on HR policy.
3. Resolving grievances.
â€˘ Support staff on welfare to ensure morale including but not limited to;
1. Advising on medical benefits.
2. Advising on workmanâ€™s compensation.
3. Manage leave schedule.
â€˘ Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the availability of a competent Resource when required.
â€˘ Coordinate and support the continuous development of staff to ensure productivity and retention by;
1. Identifying training needs.
2. Preparing training plans.
3. Providing training.
Education and Professional qualifications
DIPLOMA or A university degree in a relevant field.
2 Years in a dynamic work environment.
