Key Duties and Responsibilities: Â Â The HR Administrator is a full-time, in-country position based in Kampala and reporting to the Managing Director. The core responsibilities include:
- Manage the recruitment process and hired recruitment firms for new candidates.
- Preparing payroll data and ensuring timely submission to payroll services.
- Maintain accurate employee records both electronic and physical
- Track and report on staff leave and attendance across all offices
- Track and report on company assets including staff uniform, laptops, mobile phones.
- Manage staff benefits program, monthly submission of staff communication allowance
- Manage company nominated hospitals and hotels across all the regions, hotel reservations, tracking medical cover, authorizing treatment and general employee welfare.
- Support in resolving employee grievances and conflicts in a fair and timely manner
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or any other related field
Experience:
- Prior experience in administrative, human resources, office management or secretarial skills
- High degree of organization and communication skills
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Ability and willingness to learn on the job
- Positive attitude and sense of humor
- Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.
- Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality
