JOB DETAILS: The administrative assistant intern will provide administrative, clerical and HR support to the office staff, with a focus on assisting the entire Kanzu Code team. Duties and Responsibilities • Assist with day-to-day operations of the Admin and HR functions and duties Including but not limited to ( budget drafting, Office expenses, maintenance and tidiness • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies) • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc) • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations • Assist in data management preparation by providing relevant data (absences, leave, etc) • Communicate with the team when necessary when necessary • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews via google meet • Assist conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees • Participate in departmental business improvement assignments and projects • And any other duties assigned from time to time Qualifications: • Recent University Graduate with a strong academic record in Human Resource, Business Administration or related field • Good at Computer skills like typing, proof reading. • Strong computer skills and demonstrated ability to learn new things quickly • Effective at collaboration. • Commitment to impact and a strong interest in community development • Ability to work extremely independently • Fluency in English • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Docs, • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Willingness to learn new things • Commitment to excellence, outstanding work ethic, and attention to detail • Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving
