This role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Key Responsibilities: Supervision & Training: - Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff.
- Train new hires on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and brand standards.
- Assign daily tasks and room assignments to room attendants.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
Quality Control: - Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness standards.
- Address guest complaints regarding cleanliness and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Inventory Management: - Monitor and control inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
- Place orders for stock and manage budget for the department.
- Manage the lost and found process.
Operations: - Maintain the room status report and coordinate with the Front Office regarding room availability.
- Prepare work schedules and manage staff attendance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements: - High School Diploma; Diploma/Certificate in Hospitality Management is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Senior Room Attendant in a hotel/healthcare setting.
- Excellent eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and PPE standards.
