As a Housekeeping Staff member, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests.​ Key Responsibilities: - Room Maintenance: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming carpets, cleaning floors, dusting furniture, and cleaning bathrooms. ​
- Restocking Supplies: Replenish room amenities such as towels, toiletries, and other supplies as needed.
- Public Area Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness in public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. ​
- Laundry Duties: Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, and ironing linens and guests' clothing. ​
- Reporting Issues: Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.​
- Guest Interaction: Provide courteous and professional service to guests, addressing any inquiries or requests promptly.​
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.​ Bachelors degree is an added advantage
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.​
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.​
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.​
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.​
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.​
Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies.​
- Basic understanding of sanitation and safety protocols.​
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.​
Working Conditions: - Fast-paced environment requiring physical exertion.​
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.​
- Interaction with guests and other hotel staff.
