Job Description: History/Divinity Teacher (Secondary School)

Reports to: Head of Humanities Department / Head Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach History and Divinity/Religious Education in line with the national curriculum.
• Foster critical thinking, moral reasoning, and an understanding of historical and religious contexts.
• Develop students' writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Actively contribute to the spiritual life and moral guidance of the school community.
• Organize and participate in relevant educational activities and clubs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (History & Divinity/RE) or relevant Arts degree with PGDE.
• Registered teacher with a deep understanding of Christian doctrine and ethics.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• A passion for shaping character and worldview.
