JOB PURPOSE: The Head of Business provides strategic and operational leadership for WQS Recruitment Services, ensuring delivery of sustainable business growth, operational excellence, and alignment with the Groupâs transformation agenda. This role is responsible for driving profitability, embedding compliance and risk discipline, fostering innovation and digital transformation, and nurturing a high-performance culture. The Head of Business represents the company with clients, regulators, and stakeholders, ensuring that local operations operate seamlessly within Group policies, standards, and values. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic and Business Leadership - Develop and execute the Entity business strategy in alignment with the Groupâs vision, priorities, and transformation roadmap.
- Drive growth through diversification of service lines, expansion of client relationships, and continuous improvement in business efficiency.
- Oversee delivery of Entity financial performance in line with the approved annual business plan.
- Maintain strong stakeholder engagement with clients, regulators, and partners to build trust and sustain market reputation.
Operational Excellence, Compliance, and Risk Management - Ensure efficient, compliant, and transparent operations that meet statutory, regulatory, and Group policy requirements.
- Promote and maintain a strong internal control environment, ensuring timely identification, assessment, and mitigation of business risks.
- Oversee financial discipline including working capital optimization, cost management, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure audit readiness, process consistency, and adherence to Group Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Transformation, Innovation, and Digitalization - Champion process automation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and customer experience.
- Lead the local implementation of Group-wide transformation projects and ensure effective adoption of new systems, tools, and processes.
- Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging teams to generate ideas that improve service delivery and competitiveness in the market.
Talent Leadership and Organizational Development - Build and sustain a high performing, engaged, and accountable leadership team.
- Identify and develop successors for critical roles, ensuring leadership continuity and capability growth.
- Promote a performance-driven culture that recognizes excellence, encourages collaboration, and upholds the companyâs values.
- Drive employee engagement and inclusion initiatives to strengthen morale and retention.
Collaboration and Governance - Work closely with Group Functional Heads to ensure alignment with Group standards in Finance, HR, Risk, and Commercial practices.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and transparent reporting to Group management on operational, financial, and compliance matters.
- Represent the entity at regional forums, sharing insights, lessons, and best practices to strengthen cross-Entity learning and synergy.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Mandatory requirements: - Bachelorâs degree in business administration, Finance, HR, or a related discipline.
- Masterâs degree or MBA is an added advantage.
Experience - Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience, including at least 3 years at senior management level.
- Proven track record in delivering business growth and operational results within professional services, outsourcing, or people solutions environments.
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder operations and leading teams through change and transformation.
- Develop and execute the Entity business strategy in alignment with the Groupâs vision, priorities, and transformation roadmap.
