They will design resource mobilization plans, cultivate donor relationships, and oversee proposal development to position MHA as a thought leader in MEARL innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a business development strategy aligned to MHAâs strategic plan (2026-2030).
- Lead the design, review, and submission of high-quality proposals and bids.
- Cultivate partnerships with donors, UN agencies, governments, and INGOs.
- Lead donor mapping and funding opportunity tracking.
- Represent MHA in donor and partner meetings, both locally and internationally.
- Mentor and supervise the business development team.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements and reporting standards.
Qualifications & Skills: - Minimum of masterâs in Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, International Relations, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 yearsâ experience leading fundraising/resource mobilization for INGOs, UN agencies, or research institutions.
- Strong track record in winning donor-funded projects
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, negotiation skills and team management experience.
- Strong training and facilitation skills
- Proven experience in anglophone and francophone contexts.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and French) preferred
