Summary Date Posted: Monday, December 28, 2020 , Base Salary: Not Disclosed JOB DETAILS: WHO WE ARE: The Deposit Protection Fund of Uganda ("the Fund' or "DPF") is a government agency charged with ensuring that depositors of financial institutions regulated by Bank of Uganda are paid their protected deposits in the unlikely event of closure of a Contributing Institution (CI). The Fund was established as a legal entity following the enactment of the Financial Institutions (Amendment) Act, 2016 with the following mandates: • To be a deposit insurance scheme for customers of deposit taking institutions regulated by Bank of Uganda. • To act as a receiver or liquidator of any closed contributing institution if appointed by Bank of Uganda. The Fund is hereby seeking suitably qualified, enthusiastic, and hardworking Ugandans to fill the following positions above; Reports to: Chief Executive 0fficer Job location: Kampala Terms of Employment: Full time on Permanent and Pensionable terms Job purpose: Responsible for designing and implementing the communications strategy with a heavy emphasis on ensuring brand visibility. .
