The role involves offering consultations, preventive care, reproductive health services, and patient education while utilizing the medical centre as a consultation facility. Key Responsibilities - Conduct gynecological consultations and examinations.
- Diagnose and manage gynecological disorders.
- Provide reproductive health and family planning services.
- Screen and manage cervical and reproductive health conditions.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans.
- Refer patients for advanced investigations or specialized care where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
- Provide patient education on women's health and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain compliance with professional and ethical standards.
Qualifications & Requirements - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB/MBBS) or equivalent.
- Postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Valid practicing license.
- Registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC).
- Actively practicing as a Gynecologist.
