Background
Wagagai Mining (U) Ltd ("WGG") is Uganda's first fully automated large-scale gold mining enterprise, located in Busia. The Company operates a 5,000-tonne-per-day concentrator, a 350-tonne-per-day cyanidation plant, a fully automated underground mine, and a gold smelting and refining workshop. To meet production development needs, WGG now invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following key technical positions:
Job Summary
Responsible for day-to-day production organisation and management of the grinding and flotation plant.
Key Duties
Organise shift production across grinding, classification and flotation; monitor process indicators and separation performance; manage equipment and reagent consumption; coordinate personnel; handle production emergencies; control production costs.
Requirements
Diploma or above in mineral processing; 5+ years of grinding-flotation plant production management; familiar with the full grinding, classification and flotation process, leadership, cost control and interpersonal skills.
