GRANTS OFFICER 1 Position | 2-Year Renewable Contract Job Summary The Grants Officer will support the management of grants from application and contracting through implementation, monitoring, reporting, and close-out. Key Responsibilities - Support grant-management processes and procedures.
- Assist in preparing grant applications, budgets, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate grant files and records.
- Monitor grantee compliance with grant agreements and requirements.
- Track grant deliverables, reporting deadlines, and expenditure.
- Review grantee reports and supporting documentation.
- Support monitoring visits and grant-performance assessments.
- Identify compliance issues and escalate them appropriately.
- Assist in preparing donor and management grant reports.
- Support grant close-out processes.
- Maintain a grants database and tracking system.
- Provide technical support to partners and grantees on reporting and compliance requirements.
Ideal Candidate - Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience in grants management, donor compliance, or NGO programme administration is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and organisational skills.
- Good understanding of donor-funded projects and reporting requirements.
